Dorina Vaccaroni
Ultracycling & Fencing
Dorina Vaccaroni is one of the rare athletes to achieve elite success in two demanding disciplines: Olympic fencing and ultracycling. A lifelong vegan, Dorina embodies endurance, compassion, and performance — proving that plant-based athletes can thrive at the highest competitive levels.
After earning three Olympic medals in fencing — Bronze in Los Angeles 1984, Silver in Seoul 1988, and Gold in Barcelona 1992 — Dorina transitioned to cycling at age 37 and quickly established herself as a dominant endurance racer across Italy, Europe, and the United States.
